Dr Toby Newton-John recently wrote an interesting article discussing the role of the chronic pain patient's partner.

Partners play an important and powerful role in how successfully patients manage their pain. Chronic pain patients should access specialist pain services sooner than later and, where possible, their partners should be included in the assessment and management process.
